If you’ve been paying attention to the news lately, you’ve most likely noticed that there is one a lot of from Video Game TV Shows in progress. In fact, at times it can feel like we can’t go more than a week or two without another story or review of a video game getting a show on Netflix or Amazon Prime. And after looking at all the shows that are in the pipeline, I’m here to confirm that there are indeed a lot of video game shows coming to your TV screen in the next few years.
Just think about it: a show can get the green light, have a writer attached to it, and even start casting people, but still never make it to your screen. Making TV shows and movies is difficult and Video game adaptations have a long track record of getting stuck development hell. But even if only half of that is eventually made and released, we’re still watching plenty of new video game-inspired TV action.
