The latest breakthrough bug in New world allows players to duplicate items. Amazon put the MMO’s entire economy on hold (again) after worried gamers started posting about the situation on its site official forums. At the time of publication, New world Players cannot send money, trade with other players, access the trading post, or use the guild treasury.

New worldCommunity manager specified that the developers are aware of a duplication exploit and that the team was working on the investigation. All forms of capital transfers would be deactivated in the meantime. They also noted that all players who use the glitch are being cracked “against” even though they didn’t say what it might mean.
As usual, gamers have one completely normal in the official forums. Some have stated their intention to leave the game while others have noticed New world felt like a promising concept with wasted potential. This duplication cheat was annoying for some players because they had spent weeks searching for achievements in the game that exploiters had achieved in much less time.
This isn’t the first time Amazon Game Studios has had to reset the entire system New world Economy via an exploit. Earlier this month, players discovered that they could duplicate gold by pasting a specific string of HTML code into the chat box. Their community team then also shut down the economy and threatened to punish any player who took advantage of the exploit. So far, it doesn’t seem like the threats have stopped a second round of scammers from playing the now infamous exploitable economy of the MMO.
The developers haven’t turned the economy back on yet.
