With its new season less than a day old Apex Legends already has some new messages for gamers. The Battle Royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment hits Nintendo Switch on March 9th. The developer announced the port’s release date with a short post on the game’s website.
The Nintendo Switch version of Apex Legends is jointly developed by Respawn and Panic Button. While this is the smallest platform apex has never been released before, which doesn’t mean this version will be missing anything from its larger console and PC counterparts. The Nintendo Switch version includes all the features of the full version of apexincluding cross-platform gaming. To compensate for the slightly different controls, sizes, and technical limitations of the platform, the switch version of was used Apex Legends
Apex Legends Season eight also started on Tuesday, which means the Switch version of the game will be released right in the middle of the season. All of Season 8’s content will be included in the Switch version at launch, and Switch players will receive 30 levels of the current Battle Pass upgrades for free to make up for the late launch. Switch players will also receive Double XP for the first two weeks after the game is released.
Similar to other platforms, Apex Legends on Nintendo Switch can be played for free.
