League of Legends‘animated series Arcane is coming back to Netflix for a season 2. The announcement came after the show’s first season finale was released on Saturday and included a teaser with a brief look at the history of the second season.
Based on the teaser, it appears that Vi and Caitlyn will both be returning for the next season, and their story will center around the couple who are chasing Jinx. The clip also confirms that all three of these characters will keep their original voice actors of Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Katie Leung (Caitlyn) and Ella Purnell (Jinx) for the next se ason.
While there’s no official confirmation yet, it also appears that other main cast members are likely to return as well, such as Jayce, Viktor, Heimerdinger, and Mel. The end of season one also opens up many opportunities for the show to expand the wider world of Runeterra as well could explore, including some evidence that we might see Noxus – or at least more of its influence – in the next season.
