When we count all different versions, I played Ninja Gaiden II at least five times, and now that the world has received a Ninja Gaiden II black and developed for modern devices, it is time for another round.
Ninja Gaiden II Black is a kind of intermediate point between a remaster and a complete remake. As for the gameplay, almost everything is as before, but not exactly the same, since it has a big impact on the Sigma version if they know how to search for it. The most remarkable of these influences from Sigma are the sections in which you play alongside Ninja Ryu Hayabusa with three other playable characters: Rachel, Ayane and Momiji. On the other hand, the blood and the loose members fly like in the original, and there are some innovations that improve the gameplay according to the modern model. The most noteworthy is to resume a direct fight against a boss after a judgment without starting the previous real storage point. As far as the graphics are concerned, it is a remake quality, and frankly the game has never geared away. However, the design of levels and animations has not changed at all because they can look after invisible family walls and the fact that the controls with those of the original 2008 are identical.
Unfortunately, Ninja Gaiden II Black does not contain an online function, so that the day mission mode also has to be played alone. Fortunately, there is a competent partner. Tag Mission is a great way to practice techniques and other movements as long as you have the need. In any case, Ninja Gaiden II Black does not contain everything that has been added to the game over the years in its various versions, but in any case it is the best way to experience the game in modern hardware.

Ninja Gaiden II is supposedly a difficult action game. In fact, Ninja Gaiden was the difficult game before Dark Souls took this place in the heads of the players. The latest version adds a simple level of difficulty known as Hero Play style, and the normal challenge is offered as a path of the acolytes, which was original in the original. The warrior's path is offered as a difficult challenge and the path of the mentor as very difficult. And as soon as you have completed the game, the real challenge opens up the path of the Master Ninja. In other words, you can adapt the challenge of your taste, and this may be the best innovation of Ninja Gaiden II Black. I decided on the warrior's “difficult” path and it seemed a little too easy. On the other hand, I have been practicing sequences and movements for almost 20 years, so I assume that experience influences the experience of the challenge. Unfortunately, as always, the camera cannot follow the rhythm of the exciting action. Of course, you can correct the position of the camera with the right analog stick, but there is not enough time for it. Fortunately, the attacks of the character show at least roughly in the direction of the enemy, which helps them overcome the tight moments. When you click on a button, the camera shows in the right direction you have to follow, with a sound effect that also reproduces, which makes progress easier. Ninja Gaiden II Black is a linear game, so they won't miss anyway; Finding the right direction, however, enables small side streets and secret places to be discovered.
I still think that combat mechanics in Ninja Gaiden II is perfect. I haven't found a better since 2008. The synchronization, aggressiveness and control of different weapons with their key combinations. There is not a single bad weapon in the game and it is more of a question of what they like. In the past, I have trusted the Katana dragon sword more, but now I have to ask whether the moon staff was so fatal in previous versions. In any case, I recommend that you take the time to learn the different weapons, because if you play the sections of Rachel, Ayane and Momiji, you will be forced to survive with a little more than the simple dragon sword.

Although I played Ninja Gaiden II many times on many different platforms, a new game is always equally exciting. An attack can come from anywhere and at any time, so that the player must be constantly prepared for the fight. In fact, it is not worth taking care of the story, since the main goal is to present the player to the most extraordinary characters and to transport the protagonists around the world and the beautiful landscapes.
Even if you have previously played Ninja Gaiden II, this is the perfect opportunity to make another round. And if you have completely missed this new generation of Ninja Gaiden for some reason, Ninja Gaiden II Black is the best place to start. He only remembers that it is not time to relax, but fight while her heart rate increases and your palms sweat.
