In the latest cooking session of the Food Network Challenge showcase, four professional chefs have tried to create cupcakes that resemble popular pack monsters. Some are more successful than others.
In the first round of the new episode, there is one available online at the food website, bakers were given two hours to create a edible version of the Pokémon character. Once completed the creation of this will be judged by a panel of professional bakers, with the elimination of one competitor. The remaining three then proceeded around the two of them, creating another Pokémon to face their predecessors in battlefield.
Round one was very good for water Pokémon. Cake maker Erin Erler wowed the judges with her Mudkip drawstring (which she feels like), while Manuel Miranda created a stunning portrait of an eighth-generation lesbian, Sobble.
On the negative side, Vanessa Sampson's stand, Litten, though well-made, sounds rather dense. The work was not great.
Last but not least, we have Chikorita. Baker Allison Stamm has created some amazing cakes over the years. This particular Pokémon is not one of them. All feet are wrong, necklace is lost. Not at all Chikorita.
Allison's efforts were not enough to get her to the next round, leaving Erler, Miranda, and Sampson to see the Pokémon cake challenge in its sweet and shiny finish.
With their next creation, all three of them create some of the best packaging ever. Pikachu with Erler's beautiful skin is a nightmare of dreams.
Not only did Sampson fail to fix his beloved Litten, he set it high to be killed by the bitter Grinirtle.
I will not give the winners of the Port Network's Chekonon Cakes episode. I'll just leave you with this.
