On March 21, 2023, Litten will be in the spotlight Pokemon Go, and you get double Stardust for catching Pokémon. And no, Little can’t be shiny Pokemon Go(still)!
Just as Rowlet was the star of the Spotlight Hour last week, Litten is the star this week. Again, it’s not shiny available and will likely make its shiny debut during a Community Day – which is pretty far off judging by the fact that we’re just getting into the Kalos region starters.
You should try to snag a Litten with high IVs and evolve it until its future Community Day. During this event, Litten will likely learn Blast Burn when it has evolved, which will likely be one of his best attacks.
Pokemon is about catching them all, and in pokemon go, That means catching every variant, including rare Shiny versions of Pokémon. Every Tuesday in Pokemon Go, players will see a specific Pokémon spawn more frequently during Spotlight Hour, which runs from 6:00 p.m. to 6:59 p.m. local time. Spotlight Hour is your chance to load up Candy, a chance at high CP Pokémon, and if you’re lucky, a Shiny Pokémon.
Will Shiny rates increase during Spotlight Hour?
Based on data collected from the Pokémon community, Shiny rates don’t appear to increase during Spotlight hours The Silph Street. However, the sheer number of Pokemon spawning during the hour-long weekly event gives you an improved chance of clicking on a random Shiny. The more Pokemon you click, the more chances you have of catching a Shiny Pokemon.
What can I do to attract more Shiny Pokémon?
Unfortunately not much. It seems to be coincidence. Shiny Pokemon catch rates are set by developer Niantic and typically only increase during special events like Community Days or Safari Zones or in Legendary Raids. There are no consumable items that increase Shiny Pokemon rates.
