I don’t have time for Shin Megami Tensei V. I really don’t. But I’ll buy it, love it, play it for several nights before bed and then never touch it again. And I can’t wait.
the reviews until now were pretty positive (Kotaku‘s will be out shortly before publication), with a few calls SMT5 full of surprises and the most ambitious of the range. Others have suggested that there is also a do not take prisoners JRPG-ass JRPG without that same heart as a spin-off series, person. I suspect it will be the first though SMT Playing with more powerful hardware for a long time will also be an extremely tricky affair that is ideally suited between meals and commercial breaks.
And that’s what i want. That’s what I’m here for, even if my enthusiasm will wane long before the credits roll. Yet something about just having it on my switch next to my bed will be immeasurably comforting. I can’t remember the last time I really did beat a SMT or person, or almost any other long RPG that doesn’t belong to Square Enix. Maybe this is finally the right thing to do. Something I definitely haven’t said a dozen times already.
There will certainly be no shortage of alternatives this week. Forza Horizon 5 looks great. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Switch is a dream come true. and Airborne Kingdom finally comes to comfort. If you haven’t tried it yet, you should do it. It’s awesome.
