If you want to relive the history of fighting games in all its glory, Capcom is offering Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 owners the chance to do so for under $20—and for PC gamers, Steam is now offering the discount, too. Until early July, you can grab the Capcom Fighting Bundle (which includes Capcom Battle Collection And 30th Anniversary of Street Fighter) for about 66% off. That’s 22 Capcom classics for about 90 cents each!
I’m not even sure why I’m writing other words here, I’ll just list all the games instead. From the Capcom Fighting Collection:
- Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
- Night Warriors: Revenge of the Darkstalkers
- Vampire Savior: The Lord of the Vampires
- Vampire Hunter 2: Revenge of the Darkstalkers
- Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of the Vampires
- Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition
- Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
- Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
- Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness
- Red earth
From the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection:
- Street Fighter
- Street Fighter II
- Street Fighter II: Ultimate Edition
- Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting
- Super Street Fighter II: The new challengers
- Super Street Fighter II
- Street Fighter Alpha
- Street Fighter Alpha 2
- Street Fighter Alpha 3
- Street Fighter III: New Generation
- Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact
- Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
So much Street Fighter history: a Street Fighterfive Street Fighter IIsthree Street Fighter Alphasand three Street Fighter IIIs, and I’m pretty sure you have to multiply that out to get a total of 23 SF units. I’m pretty sure that’s how it works. Probably.
Even if only some of these games pique your interest, it is still a great value, and we — that is, the royal, collective Polygon hivemind – have at least a dozen favorites on the list, including Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.
The Capcom Fighting Bundle offer runs until July 4th on the PlayStation Store
So what should you do with all these savings? We would like to recommend a certain classic by Raul Julia that will surely Capcom keeps talking about it are far from being the focus of shareholders’ meetings.
Update (July 1): Steam is now Also offers a big discount on the package, valid until July 11th.
