Chapter 4 Season 3 Week 3 Quests and NPC Locations

We’ve been there for three weeks Fourteen daysis the final season and hopefully you’ve been able to complete the weekly quests without much trouble so far. This week, however, you may have encountered a few challenges that aren’t as familiar to you, including one involving one of the new mechanics: Mud. Throw in a joke about getting dirty and let’s get to work by completing this week’s quests (as well as last week’s bonus quest).

How to cover yourself in mud and slide 100 meters

The Mudslide quest is the second step of one of this week’s quests which requires you to thank the bus driver three times and loot a chest. If you don’t know how to do this, it’s very simple: press B on a keyboard or down on the directional pad while on the bus and you’ll thank the bus driver. Then dive to a safe place and grab a chest.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be asked to lather up in the mud and slide a little. Head into the new jungle area and look for thick, brown patches of ground. Entering these areas will grant you a mud blanket. Do that and then get ready to slide.

I’ve found that one of the best places to get a 100 meter distance is northwest of Mega City. You will find a northwest trending slope leading to a temple building. This slope will be covered in mud, but there is also an exposed pipe that has water leaking from it. Cover yourself in mud and then make your way to the top of the slope, then race down and slide to your temple. You should be able to cover 100 meters in a single ride, but watch out for the water as it will wash the mud off you.

The next two-step quest on this week’s to-do list requires you to start by damaging enemies with assault rifles. After that, you need to chat with an NPC. Here are the current locations of all Fourteen days NPCs:

How to reveal opposing players

There are several ways to reveal opposing players this season. And with the addition of mud as camouflage, things might be a bit trickier this time.

If you Grab a flare gun and hit another player with it, an enemy becomes visible, but there are other ways. Go to Peely in Shady Stilts and Buy a shadow tracker from him for 400 bars. Not only does this make an enemy visible when you land a shot, but it also creates higher damage per second.

Alternatively, you can attack a capture point to reveal any enemy nearby. Here are the current locations of the capture points:

How to damage enemies Fourteen days‘s pod plants

along with mud, Fourteen days also added some destructive plants to annoy your enemies with. Once you complete all of the second week quests, your bonus quest will ask you to damage an opponent with a pod plant. Legumes will probably catch your eye as they are large, colorful plants that you can find in the center of the map.

Go to the Creeky Compound (in the center of the island) and you will find a few. You can either shoot them or attack them with a melee attack to blow them up. The purple flowers will cause an explosion. Meanwhile, the yellow ones release dangerous fumes. There are also some blue ones that you can attack for healing.

Since Fourteen daysThe weekly quests are available at any point during the season, so there’s no need to do them all at once. The current season runs until August 25, 2023.
