Amazon has unveiled the first trailer for its international spy series Citadel. Out of Avengers: Endgame In the series, directors Joe and Anthony Russo play Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, two spies who have lost their memories but still have to save the world.
citadel follows Mason Kane (Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Chopra Jonas), who were both known spies for the global spy organization Citadel, which protected the world from evil of all kinds until it was destroyed by a new group of mysterious villains known as the Manticore. After the attack on their organization, Kane and Sinh both end up in hiding, completely without their memories, at least until Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci) arrives one day to recruit them back into the fight against international evil.
The show’s first trailer is already an action-packed adventure that travels the world – it even has a ski chase that’s a staple of any good spy fiction. But even more than the international action, citadelPerhaps the most impressive promise is its ambition: Amazon is planning for citadel to be the flagship for a franchise of spy thrillers, all set in the same world and produced in different countries. Series are already in production in Italy and India that will tell stories related to each other and to the flagship citadel
