Commands: Origins sees the great return of the series built in the late 90s and early 2000s. A real franchise strategy franchise in which a group of elite soldiers who are known as commands fall behind enemy lines during the Second World War. It seems to be the perfect summary for a B action film that Netflix recommends a Sunday evening, but commandos: Origins not only enables you to cross dozens of Nazis with a machine gun.
Instead, they have the task of having enemy territory and eliminating one or two Nazis every time they remain as secret as possible. These are commands: origins in some words. I can't talk about the other games in the series because I don't know them, but this current title combines Stealth and strategy in a series of levels that work as a great puzzle that you have to solve.
You will receive a selection of the title commands for each mission. From the resistant green basket cap to breastfeeding but fatal snipers, you will find that every command is armed with a weapon and a knife, your equipment and skills completely distinguish you from each other. Your skills can and should be used in coherence with other commands to get this perfect silent career. One of my favorites was to distract the enemy with the sound mitter of the green basket hat, just to follow the sound of a trap for bears that lie from El Zapador. It is a trick that is taught at the beginning of the game, but the amount of uses that I took away was strange, while dozens of Nazis marched towards her doom like Lemmings.

Plan and execution. This is how Commandos is played: origins. The cards are so large that you cannot calculate your entire route from minute one, at least not in your first race, and therefore you almost take every section as your own servant. They have a few enemies, each of whom is seen in such a way that they cannot simply fall on them with knives. Or if you believe that there is no other option, you can prepare so that an entire basis is paid for you shortly afterwards. The tactics in commandos: Origins can be really difficult to find out, and it is worth showing that it quickly depends on them before trying out risky movement, since the game has no automatic storage.
Although the lack of rescue can sometimes be frustrating, the difficulty generally seems to be more worthwhile than unfair. Listening to the successive snacks of your team's knives by crossing Nazis throats, shortly before one noticing, is very satisfactory, and proud swells when you find that you have found your own exit to the problem. Even if something goes wrong, you can be proud to have survived. There was a level that I did not secretly became, and in the end I blocked my commands in a room while the alarm sounded and shooting everyone who entered the door.
The satisfactory difficulty of the game may not all be satisfied, since almost the Miami hotline of the strategy for fasting is already that they will swear and take up in the end. It gives a high degree that Claymore Game Studios has made a lot of effort into the cohesion of commands: Origins. There are many points where everything seems to fit. You will receive this with the commands, since the devices you have on each level are clearly designed for the completion of this card, whereby your strengths are used in different ways. There is part of me who asks about how to transfer an order to a card, perhaps after the original level has been exceeded, but there is such a strong sense of the purpose in the elections that I would rather not change it.

The scale of the cards is also a good sample of the tight points of commands: Origins. The design of the levels is very good, with cards that all cover and bring them from the Arctic to the hot African deserts and everything else. The complexity and size of the levels let you spend hours in each of them. With a total of fifteen and a lot of repetition to overcome everyone in the most difficult difficulties, there are many content. Cards are also visually impressive. Nothing that leaves them speechless, but the models, explosions and environments are a joy for seeing, and they will immerse them in the hours they spend, look at them and try to find out how they can avoid this guard, which threatens their entire mission.
Speaking of visual effects, the occasional minor failure remains remarkable, especially when it comes to dead enemies that are crazy as soon as they fall on the ground with their members so wildly that the nearby guards were not recognized. For the rest, my only main request would have been a little more narrated. Commandos: Origins is a strategy game, and the genre did not always need a story in its core, but some of the jokes between the commands in the game have caused me to want a little more for the missions that simply “we fall here to destroy a bridge or collect important documents”.
Commandos: Origins is a great game in a genre that urgently needs. With a difficulty that even the most tactical heads are questioned, combined with refreshing visual effects and funny characters, is what you get, a satisfactory and rewarding experience that you can charge the departure after departure. The difficulty can cause occasional frustration here and there, and you may want more than a satisfactory play loop, but in general it is a victory for fans of real strategy games.
