Cryptic Quatrains riddles solutions for Destiny 2: Season of Plunder

destiny 2: Season of Plunder is all about pirates, and what’s more pirate-like than finding a puzzle hidden in a bottle? Well, that’s the gist behind Season of Plunder’s new Treasure Beacon quests, which take you on a puzzling adventure set around the Sol system.

In this determination 2 Guide we will teach you how to get the Treasure Beacons and how to solve each of the game’s three puzzle tasks, starting with Cryptic Quatrains 1.

How to unlock Treasure Beacons

All three Treasure Beacons come from the Rank Rewards menu in the star map In the HELMET. You need to level yours get it – the seasonal reputation – up to level 16 to unlock all three bonfires.

Here are the Savvy levels you need for each beacon:

• Small Treasure Fire – Rank 7
• Medium Treasure Fire – Rank 10
• Big Treasure Fire – Rank 16

Small Treasure Beacon – Cryptic Quatrains 1

You can pick these up at Savvy Rank 7 Small Treasure Fire from the star map that will give you the Cryptic quatrains 1 Seek. You have to solve four different “puzzles” to find the buried treasure, which is the first half of a new one treasure map for your captain’s Atlas.

Step 1

The first Cryptic Quatrains 1 riddle is as follows:

“My story begins how I hide from the crews/them Seek and will find me if I don’t hide soon / I’ll wait on the night, the wisest cunning / And force them to hunt in the light of the moon.”

The actual puzzle here is fun, but not particularly helpful. Instead, focus on the orange letters in the quest text (which we’ve put in bold above), which will give you the real message:

“Begin Search on the Moon”

All you have to do for this puzzle is land on the moon. Go to your director and land at Eris.

The second Cryptic Quatrains 1 riddle is as follows:

“Behind the Harborher grief was real / you lost what I had taken, my heart full of fear / Of cruel epiphany the dawn would reveal: / A chestbroke and barren, and I’m nowhere near”

After the orange text, the message reads:

“Harbor Sorrow Lost Revelation Box”

The answer to this riddle is in the K1 Revelation Lost Sector in Sorrow’s Harbor on the moon. Teleport there and run through the Lost Sector. When you open the chest, the last piece of the puzzle, you will solve the puzzle.

The third Cryptic Quatrains 1 puzzle is as follows:

“My eyes on them cosmoss, I sobbed / I begged the gods and the favor alike / By bullets or saberI would fall victim to the rabble / But please, let me give them something tangible hit”

After the orange text, the message reads:

Cosmo Fallen Saber Strike

Go to the cosmodrome and select the Fallen SABER Strike node on the far right of the map. Complete the Strike to solve the puzzle and take the final step.

The fourth Cryptic Quatrains 1 riddle is as follows:

“The winds of Europe were frozen and white / And even the tides had been stopped by the cold / Die hook would swing empty, I wouldn’t die tonight / By cranes they would be Seekin ‘but I’d keep me gold”

After the orange text, the message reads:

“Europe Eventide hook crane search”

Go to the Eventide Ruins on Europa. When you land, head forward to the open area where several cranes are perched over a patch of snow – this is the arena where the Servitor public event occasionally spawns.

On the ground, in the snow, you’ll see a green X next to some rocks. Dig up the treasure and earn some loot, some map fragments, and more Raw cipher fragment.
