“A kind of generation of readers happens. I will leave her to draw your own conclusions about why. The timing has to be right because you don't want to do it too often. You want to feel special. It is a way to find this right moment for both companies to come together because it is complex. The history of justifying the hype of everything.”
Wells told the outlet that after the letter of 60 editions of Spider-Man He wanted a break, but Marvel offered him this chance to work on a Batman crossover, and he decided that he “no longer needed a break” and jumped on board the project.
“In Batman we found someone who has even less time for Deadpool's antes than Wolverine, but a city -wide threat to the joker makes strange bedding (literally when Deadpool has its way),” said Wells. “It was a great time to let go of Deadpool in Gotham City and watch what happens.”
Bucey added that the main reason DC and Marvel Batman and Deadpool chose for a crossover that it was “a funny combination”.
“It was nothing more complicated than that,” said Buckley. “Like Deadpool, who hangs around with Batman. There is a lot of lightness that can have a lot of fun there, and it would also be a bit violent. Our big thing is, we want to do something that is a lot of fun, presenting comics, excitement and bring new readers or clarified readers back to the industry.”
