The open beta begins on Friday, August 20 at 1 p.m. EDT / 10 a.m. PDT. This Beta and Early Access Beta will cover all platforms except Nintendo Switch. Players can try cross-progression support on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X versions.
Blizzard says both betas will allow players to try five classes: Paladin, Druid, Barbarian, Amazon, and Sorceress. The multiplayer component supports up to eight players in the PvP or PvE game.
Both beta periods are limited to Act I: The Sightless Eye and Act II: The Secret of the Game’s Vizjerei. There won’t be a level cap, however, so players can try a variety of builds as long as they want to progress through these two acts.
Blizzards official blog post has more details. Diablo 2: Risen starts on September 23rd.
