Elden Ring Nighteg houses many difficult boss fights, especially the nightlords on the third day. The night lords are their last tests at the end of every expedition. Hopefully you have managed to build a good enough character to record it.
The very first mission they record is called Tricephelos and the nightlord is Gladius, Biest of Night. This is a hound-like Cerberus monster that will prove to be a tough challenge at the first game Night direction. Gladius will always be the first night lord against which the players will fight, and must be defeated to get access to the remaining nightlords.
Those who played the beta will undoubtedly recognize Gladius because it was the last head of the beta. In my own experience, Gladius actually seems to be easier this time because it does not use its fire attacks almost as often. It mostly used its sword attacks. In its second phase, however, it will begin more often.
Here you will find some tips on how to get your first Nightlord victory by defeating Gladius.
Preparation
Every kind of class combination is sufficient if all three players are clever enough, but Tanks and melee characters are good here, like Guardian and Raider. This is because Gladius' curved sword attack (yes, a sword can swing with his cock) to have a certain survey to him, which makes it easy to avoid if they stay very close and personal. A person who plays a ranged class like The Ranger Irononeye is always helpful to distract the boss so that teammates can repeat themselves.
To prepare for fire damage, they equip all relics. In addition, you can record a sign that has fire resistance during your expedition, but that is violently based on happiness.
During your expedition, make sure that you target camps and structures with the holy icon – it looks like a blade with a thin, bright circle around you. This indicates that the boss drops weapons in these structures that harm when defeated saints. Gladius is weak against sacred damage, so it is important to achieve every advantage you can.
Strategies for the fight against Gladius
During the first stage, Gladius will mainly use his sword attacks, but they will not cause any fire damage. This part should be relatively easy if you avoid its attacks, including its bite failures. After a quarter of his health, Gladius will pass into his second phase.
The second phase is when it actually begins to use fire attacks. The most threatening attack in this phase is where it is withdrawing his sword, and then pushes it down into the ground, creating a large explosion. The easiest way to avoid this is to enforce the explosion or leave Gladius behind, since the attack mainly ends up in front of it.
Gladius will also divide in three copies. One will be the main dog who carries the sword while the other two are not. The best strategy here is to combine strength and concentrate on getting a dog out, preferably one of the weaker ones without the sword. This part is only temporary. If you wait long enough, Gladius will eventually be one that is again.
After all, his biggest fire attack is similar to the previous one, where his sword pushes into the ground. It will set fire to his sword and then push it back into the ground. Unless this time there is a short delay before it leads to an even greater explosion. The best strategy for dodging is the same as always. A timely dodging rolls through the explosion or is behind Gladius when it runs out.
After you have hit Galdius, congratulations! This unlocks the remaining nightlords. You can challenge them in any order. Additionally, Gladius will drop an old pocket watch, which the priestess can be given in a white robe to unlock the Duchess class. There is actually a very small chance (approximately 510 percent) that the pocket watch sinks, even if you lose against Gladius, but it guarantees the drop.
