Elden Ring Nighteg Has many hard boss fights. The night lords that have reached their last challenges after the third day are among the most difficult. Fortunately, there are some that are easier than others.

Preparation
Preparation is not as important for this nightlord as for others, However, be sure to take on a ranged character.. Maris swims around in the air and sometimes makes it difficult to achieve it. Ironeye or hermit will be effective here. However, Maris is usually not too far outside the range, so melee classes are not left out of the action.
While unconfirmed, Maris appears More susceptible to lightning damage, which would make sense due to a water elementary system. When crossing Limveld, Prioritize camps with the Lightning icon so that you may be able to secure a corresponding elementary weapon.
Strategies for the fight against Magis
Maris usually starts with two basic attacks. It shoots about five slow moving bubbles that penetrate their position and finally explode for the first attack. The second attack is a simple tidal wave that covers a small area. Both are easy to avoid. Simply keep away from the blisters for the former and are not nearby if they hunt into the air. Simply turn out the shaft for the latter or sprint from the wave.
Maris has two other major attacks. You can see it turning around and creating a whirlpool. This usually only hits if you are in close proximity. If you use a ranged character like Ironeye, you shouldn't have a problem avoiding it. If you are nearby, just give away.
Maris will calculate the other attack. This is easy to telegraph: You can see how Maris excludes himself by making one or two flips in the air before you come back down. It is easy to avoid this.
Finally, the Blau shining battlefield and Maris begin with the summon of tentacles to attack them when they come too close. They are stuck in the area they sprout, so it is easy to avoid them. During this phase, Maris can drop the same slow explosive blisters, except that there are now 10 of them. Use the same strategy as last time: just avoid it.
One of the last attacks is when it flies up into the air and lays an egg that slowly descends on the field. Maris is not very aggressive and his attacks are probably the easiest to learn and to avoid all night lords in the game. Just be patient and it will go under at some point.
