Epic Games has unveiled plans to break the power of competition Fortnite players who clash with opposing team members.
In its renewal "Competitive Integrity" is a guide documentary, Epic cited its Collusion Rule stand which already prevents opponents from cooperating with mutually beneficial tactics that challenge the spirit of team-based gameplay. This includes co-ordinating, pre-mapping the location of the catchment, and deliberately throwing each other a trick.
Its rules include a ban on "signing" on opposing players. In many online games, opposing players often sign in different situations. For example, when two players come together, one can lie down and indicate that they will not risk war. This may be an unspoken agreement that players choose to stay alive, and therefore wish to avoid dangerous gunfire.
Though the practice is very much in conflict with mainstream gaming, it is a problem in tournament games. Epic talks about a situation where competing players have clearly improved the game's texting signals.
The new guidelines mean that players should not be in touch with a swipe of taking, touching, throwing a toy, or jumping. According to Epic, the penalties will include a "merger / merger penalty," which will be "a step in the right direction … returnees likely to suffer penalties." Earlier, Epic had banned players from discovering that they were breaking the rules.
Given that the specified motion is all normal enough internally Fortnite, it will take a conscious eye to see the difference between rotation and collision with opposing players. Epic turns to players for help. The review says: “When you see something, say something. Remember, if you have an honest competition issue that you like to report please contact us through our support team of players. They will help to ensure that your query will end up in the right place. ”
