Fallout 5 comes after The Elder Scrolls 6, says Todd Howard

Howard and company officially announced starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 back in 2018, and the former is finally coming out sometime next year. (It’s been pushed back from November of this year.) A similar development window for the latter would pin the next Elder Scrolls game somewhere around 2027, making the prospect of the next Fallout game’s release window just too soul-sapping to actually type out. That assumes, of course, that only Bethesda Game Studios itself would devote five years to each of their upcoming games, and that primary development wouldn’t be turned over to former Fallout developer Obsidian Entertainment, who is currently busy making several of its own RPGs (Buses

, confessesand The Outer Worlds 2).

The Latest Mainline Fallout Game, failure 4, was released in 2015 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. Bethesda Softworks has released a sequel, Fallout 76, in 2018, to mixed reactions.
