Just like taking a pair of pants to the tailor, a good mod can breathe new life into a game and change the way it looks or plays to exciting – or hilarious – results. Now our top three girls – Aerith Gainsborough, Tifa Lockhart and Yuffie Kisaragi – have had a completely different makeover, gaining enough muscle to break anyone in half.
As discovered by PCGamer, mod repository Nexus Mods has a trio of new transformations for the girl band. Each mod was created by modder FudgeX02 in early March and is one of them FF7Rleads ladies to a muscle mommy. I mean, they’re jacked and look like a bodybuilder or maybe a wrestler on steroids. The best part is that in addition to the incredible character models, FudgeX02 has given them each appropriate and hilarious names. We’re talking “Aerith Gainsbro,” “Beefa” LockhartAnd “Buffie” Kisaragi. They’re so good I’m dying and I’m wondering if Mako is actually just a green protein shake.
As can be seen from FudgeX02’s descriptions of the mods, every aspect of these women has been highlighted. “Everything is thrown together,” he said. “No more Twig Tifa.”
In DMs with My city On Nexus Mods, FudgeX02 said this when he first made it Tifa fan two years agowhich he has since created mods for Resident Evil 4 And Street Fighter 6 to improve his skills. This new Beefa – and the other two Muscle Mommy mods for Aerith and Yuffie – only took a few hours to put together. He also gave a simple explanation for why he sent our leading ladies to the gym.
“I always felt like Tifa was too skinny to be a brawler, so I made the first version of ‘Beefa’ two years ago,” said FudgeX02. “Of course my version is too big, but the character really seems more like Cammy Street fighter instead of looking so frail. As for Aerith and Yuffie, that only happened because I could.”
I asked FudgeX02 to elaborate.
“I like muscular women,” FudgeX02 explained. “For me, muscles are like a bonus modifier. Bigger is better in my opinion.”
I think it makes sense for Tifa and Yuffie to have a little more muscle than they currently have in the game. The former is a martial artist, the latter a ninja. These jobs require some strength, right? I just don’t know if anyone expected them to look like Dwayne Johnson or John Cena. I mean, these women look like they bench press at least 200 pounds. That means if Cloud Strife really weighs 160 pounds, any of these women could easily lift him. Even though we don’t know Sephiroth’s official weight, I fully expect that “Aerith Gainsbro”, “Beefa” Lockhart and “Buffie” Kisaragi could destroy him. No materials required.
