FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch is a Metroidvania-style 2D platform game in which animals take on machines that have invaded their world. FIST received a new trailer during the PlayStation stream from Sony State of Play on Thursday, along with a new release date of September 7th.

The game stars Rayton, a rabbit who has been hiding for six years since the machines took over his town. When his friend is kidnapped, Rayton has to come out of his hiding place and face the machines. Like most games in this genre, FIST will provide a huge 2D environment for players to explore, complete with a multitude of secrets and upgrades to be found. The game features an arcade style combat system that allows Rayton to take out enemies with a variety of weapons that he can use for powerful combos.

FIST was announced again for the first time July 2020 as a PlayStation 4 game. A few months later, at The Game Awards 2020, it was announced that the game was about to hit the market PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and would be released in spring 2021. Unfortunately, the game didn’t make it in time for spring, but it now seems set for a fall release.

FIST: Forged in Shadow Torch is developed by Bilibili and published by TiGames. The game will be released on September 7th Pc, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
