Fortnite is down and unplayable while players wait for Chapter 3

Fourteen days has been canceled and cannot be played as Epic Games’ blockbuster Battle Royale moves from Chapter 2, Season 8 – which officially ended on Saturday, December 4th, to Chapter 3 of the forever updated game.

It is not clear when Fourteen days

will come back online from maintenance mode after the season, but if the end of “Chapter 1” of the game (when the map was sucked into a black hole) is any indication, it could be hours before players revert to Epic’s murder Island.

Chapter 2 ended Saturday when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson – who was supposed to play the Foundation in the game – saved Jonesy and the Fourteen days

The island overturned, unleashed a huge tidal wave and ushered in a whole new landscape on which to fall, build, shoot and survive.

For now, however, players who are lucky enough to actually sign up Fourteen days (which not many are) can only see their character floating in the middle of the ocean as the servers will remain unavailable for the foreseeable future.

What Fourteen days Chapter 3 will bring the battle royale phenomenon – which will celebrate its fifth anniversary next year – remains to be seen. We’ll update this page with new details as we know more.
