PlayStation Plus free games for January include Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League a year after the critically acclaimed launch of the live-service shooter. It is being added to the paid monthly subscription service just in time for players to experience and access the final season the long-awaited offline mode.
PS Plus, which allows subscribers to the program's basic tier to claim games and then access them at any time as long as their membership is active, has a pretty good deal for January 2025. They will be available from January 7th:

- The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe | PS4, PS5
The Stanley Parable is a critically acclaimed 2013 walking sim meta-narrative of game design and player advocacy that was recently released Ultra Deluxe Version that improves the graphics and expands the content enormously. Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remasteredis now one of the better games in the racing series, developed by Criterion Games, the makers of Burnout Franchise.

But it is Suicide Squad That's the most remarkable thing about the lineup. Rocksteady Studios' first new game since then Batman: Arkham Knightthe open-world looter shooter, ended up being a huge disappointment for many fans of the Arkhamverse. However, the cutscenes and character work are still top notch and there are some great things to see and discover in the sprawling Metropolis sandbox.
Unfortunately, it's also packed with live service filler, with repetitive missions and boring enemy encounters. For this reason, a year after releasing its roadmap, the studio has not announced any further updates to complete the game's multiverse narrative saga. DeathStroke arrived last month as part of Season 4, joining Joker, Mrs. Freeze and Lawless as well as the rest of the playable roster.
The final update will go live on January 14th. From this point on, players can continue to experience the main campaign and post-launch story missions in an offline mode, even if Suicide Squad's multiplayer servers eventually go offline.
