The image that creates the buzz comes from an unboxing video on a blue Nintendo Switch Lite Nintendo’s YouTube channel. We only see Waluigi flashing on the screen for a second, but the brief cameo was enough to inspire people to take screenshots and share the picture on social media. The picture shows Waluigi with knees kneeled together and broken prey. His profile looks beautiful, his tongue flies out of his mouth and his red rose.
Then If that wasn’t enough, the Waluigi forces at Nintendo have blessed fans with yet another render for the company’s upcoming Switch game. Mario Golf: Super Rush. Here he rocks a fedora and a buttoned waistcoat to match Wario’s great outfit.
The fans are excited about social media. One person commented online: “The era of sexy Waluigi has officially begun and we couldn’t be happier.”
People joke that Nintendo is aware of the Waluigi thirst and developers are letting its character be designed accordingly.
When the renderings weren’t enough, Waluigi also got another bump when Kate McKinnon portrayed him in one Sketch as part of Saturday night live. In the play, she and Elon Musk – who played Wario – defended Wario in a lawsuit over a banana peel in Mario Kart.
