Counterplay Games brings its looter slasher Godfall on PlayStation 4, the developer announced on Saturday at Gearbox Entertainment’s E3 2021 showcase. Godfall was originally released as a PlayStation 5 exclusive console in November 2020 (it also made it to the Epic Games Store for PC) but will switch to the last generation console this August.
Godfall also gets a new extension, Fire and darkness, and a free update called Lightbringer on August 10th. Fire and darkness
Counterplay originally announced Godfall back in 2019 as one of the first PS5 titles. Gearbox Publishing has released the game. We called in our review of the game Godfall an ambitious “overcrowded mess” that “seeks to replace the depth with a coat of complexity”.
