As the name indicates, Hades 2 is the sequel to the acclaimed action game, Hades. Just like the original, Hades 2 will be an action roguelike adventure set in a mythological underworld inspired by Greek mythology. You fight with cool, swinging weapons. Die. Fight some more, maybe in a different place this time. Die again. If you’re lucky, you might get to flirt with a shockingly hot character. Overall, the approach to story, gameplay and art direction are very similar Hades
The biggest change will be its protagonist. Instead of playing as Zagreus, Hades 2 allows players to fight as a mysterious, nameless character called the Princess of the Underworld. A description of the game touts a “larger, deeper mythical world” where the Princess of the Underworld will fight to defeat the powers of the Titan of Time and wield the godlike powers of Olympus. We don’t have much information about new gameplay elements like weapons, but trailers and game descriptions have so far revealed that she will use witchcraft and dark sorcery to fight.
