I didn’t just praise it Halo infinite a few weeks ago that I let myself wear cute things like sunflowers and roses? Now I’m back to sing the praises of a different type of armor attachment that will be known to e-girls and weebs alike. Yes, Master Chief can now wear cat ears. This is the future Alex Jones wanted to warn you about, a world that belongs to cat boys and cat girls.
But these ears have their price – and are only available in multiplayer. Purrfect Audio’s cat ears cost about $ 10 real money and are part of a larger cat-themed package that includes a worn, salmon-colored armor coating. Unfortunately, the ears can only be worn on a single armor core. That’s a shame because other types of goods have gotten a bit more flexible compared to what was sold when the mode first started. For example, the red and gold Iron Man colorways that are being hacked apply to multiple cores of armor – including the infamous limited (but soon easier to customize) Samurai core! Still, when I’m stuck with a little teddy bear tied to my baby blue military camouflage, cat ears craned up behind cover, trigger finger ready for the mere hint of enemy action, it’s hard to complain. I am cute and that is the most important thing.
Good timing too. At the moment there is a Big holiday-themed event in progress To do this, you have to log in for several days in order to win different delicacies. While some may find this requirement onerous during a period of time that can involve a lot of social obligations (if not travel), there are many incentives here too. By that I mean: This pink-green armor that was advertised at the event certainly seems to go well with my new cat ears. Nobody said it was easy to look good. My vacation plans have just been cut because of Omicron, so I have nothing better to do anyway.
And for those of you who are completely repulsed by the cat-ear vibes, don’t worry, there’s something for you too: 343 sells some really posh shades of black, brown, and gray for your trusty combat rifle. Representation matters, folks.
