With a new studio shooter, Active, Riot looks to replicate the success of its beating League of Legends, for its pricing, cosmetics and microtransaction.
During a visit to the Riot headquarters in Los Angeles, Polygon spent time with a few development team members. We wanted to hear more about what players can expect if they want to buy skins from them Allowed.
Much like that League of Legends, Allowed it will be a free game to play. Riot will offer players skins and other decorations in the form of microtransaction. None of these things will change how the game plays, how it looks. In the meantime, the cosmetics in the game include weapon skins and sprinklers, which can be dropped off the map at any time.
Each of these items is purchased from the game store, or acquired through the game's warfare. In accordance with Allowed executive producer Anna Donlon, the game will feature ways to get jewelry purchased directly, or acquired through game play.
