On February 5th, developers Blackbird Interactive released a public demo for Homeworld 3 At steam and that Epic Games Store, presents its roguelike War Games mode. Although we enjoyed the vertical portion of the game, there were still a number of issues that made us question whether Blackbird Interactive would have time to resolve them before release.
Fortunately, Blackbird Interactive, in its clear commitment to delivering the best possible version of the latest installment in the legendary sci-fi RTS series, has made the decision to postpone the launch of Homeworld 3
According to the Statement from Blackbird InteractiveThe decision to delay launch was made in response to external playtest feedback and reception of the public demo.
It’s definitely frustrating to see Homeworld 3 Suffer another delay, especially considering that the launch was originally scheduled for the first half of 2023. As a long-time fan of the Homeworld Franchise, I’m glad the developers are taking the necessary steps to address these issues.
