What to expect on the Official Xbox Podcast on February 15th
While there’s still a bit of mystery as to what exactly we should expect in today’s podcast, we do know that Spencer is expected to provide an update on Microsoft’s “Vision for the future of Xbox.”
As previously mentioned, this follows a week of turmoil in the Xbox fanbase, as sufficiently convincing leaks regarding the exclusive status of several major Xbox franchises allow them to transition to multiplatform status, potentially coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
The official Xbox podcast is expected to go live after a rumored Nintendo Direct, which only adds to speculation that certain Xbox games are at least coming to Switch.
Last week’s rumors follow other wild changes at Team Xbox, including a massive series of layoffs next to record-breaking acquisitions of other game companies to grow the brand.
It remains to be seen whether today’s news is an exciting reveal of something or more news to depress Xbox fans. The special edition of the official Xbox podcast launches on February 15th at 3:00 p.m. EST / 12:00 p.m. PST.
