A diverse network of collecting resources is an essential part of Civilization 7. Nevertheless, the game's tutorials leave some large gaps in the way in which resources actually work. However, the acquisition of resources for your settlements is one thing Civilization 7 Throughout several cases in which you cannot close them – and don't tell you why.
In the following we have everything you need to know about resources Civilization 7Including tips on how to work, how you get you, under what circumstances you can work properly and how problems can be fixed where the game cannot carry any objects into cities.
How to get resources in civilization 7
You actually have to receive resources before you can close them, and Civilization 7 Gives you some methods to get them:
- Create an agreement best
- Create trade routes
- Conquer other settlements
Let us break a little.
The first way is Establishment of a settlement near a resource note so that the city or city limit includes it. This automatically adds the resources to your network. When your settlement grows, additional resources that are caught in the sphere of influence of your settlement will also be available.
The other method includes Creation of trade routes with the trade unit. Every dealer can set up a way to the city of another civilization, and you will receive all the resources that the city near a small sum of gold has in every round – but only near resources. Everything that the city imports for itself is outside its reach. The amount of gold you pay depends on how many resources the Target City has, but in most cases you can expect between eight and 12 gold per route per round. Civilization 7 Don't let the trade routes cancelTherefore, these transactions are permanent.
The establishment of a strong and varied offer of your own resources also attracts dealers from other civilizations and helps to balance the gold river that you leave and penetrate into your health insurers.
The last way is conquer other settlementsWhat your goods adds to your pool of available city and bonus resources. If you keep the city, it is a good idea to leave all the lucky resources where you are, until unrest die and you can construct lucky buildings there. Otherwise, the misfortune level can lead to the settlement of falling over the empire or calling up its excess happiness.
All types of resources in civilization 7
Resources are elements that offer bonuses, either for certain income in the settlement in which they assign them, or for their civilization in the broader sense. Civilization 7 Use small images of the source to show which tile you are on, like a small horse picture or a glass of spices, and you can hover over it to see what advantages it offers.
Some increase food production, which contributes to settlements grow faster. Others increase production or give a small gold multiplier to the performance of a settlement, and some offer bonus happiness, which is an excellent way to compensate for unrest in newly acquired settlements or when things are simply unexpectedly acidic.

Civilization 7 divides its resources into three types – CityPresent bonusAnd Rich – with a fourth, FactoryThis arises in modernity. As the name suggests, city resources are only valid for cities, so that you cannot set it in cities. However, you can assign any city or city to bonus resources connected to your trade network. This is vague Civilization 7-Prjudicial for a settlement on a continent where you have at least one trade route or a coastal settlement with a port.
Empire resources are things like marble, gold or tea. Their advantages apply in their civilization, discounts such as additional damage to cavalry troops or additional gold, and they do not have to assign them.
Most bonus resources from the exploration age are in modern times in the factory resources, including chocolate, fruit and cotton. You can only assign factory resources in a city that has a factory. Civilization 7 It enables them to only build factories in settlements with a train station that is also connected to their capital. Most cities and cities in their civilization automatically have streets that connect them after creating a trade route. However, if your network has gaps, create a station.
You can only put a factory resource into a city with a factoryRegardless of where it is or how big the city is. The factory resources are helpful whether they are pursuing an economic victory or not because they deliver special bonuses – for example to the marine production, Citrus contributes to naval production – or advantages that resources have not offered in earlier times, including increased science returns.

How to sit resources for a city in civilization 7
Choose the icon with the leaf symbol to open the menu of the resource. Select which resource you want and decide which settlement you should have. The resource screen shows the current earnings outputs of each settlement. Use these numbers to inform your decision. If your capital already has 80 production, but you, for example, have difficulty producing gold, it may be a slit bonus production resources to a city with growth specialization, since production in these settlements converted into gold.
Civilization 7 Always throws a notification via leaf symbol in the round round when you get a new resource. So there is no chance to miss it accidentally.
How to increase resource slots in civilization 7
Civilization 7 is a bit cloudy about which settlements and how many slots you can get and what you can do to increase your number of available resource slots. The only safer way to do this is to add camels as a resource, which increases the number of slots by two in the settlement in which the camel is located – or one because the camel takes a slot. Camels are a city resource, so this method does not work for cities. It is also not available in modernity if camels do not exist as a resource.
Apart from their capital, which ends with several resource slots in the course of the game, most cities have between one and three slots, while cities receive three to five. The growth capacity seems to be how civilization 7 determines the number of slots and not the trade routes or available resources. In several games, our cities with populations had over 40, the food over 80 generated, four or five resource slots, while those with a population of about 30 or less were less.
Why doesn't it leave me resources?
If Civilization 7 Do not let them allow you to bring a city or bonus resource to a settlement, and you are not trying to fill a city resource into a city. The problem is almost always the result of it Union with no connection with an existing trade route. It could be on an island, surrounded by competing civilizations or just further outside than where their dealers are currently traveling.
The easiest way to purchase or create a dealer unit and create a trade route to reach the city or the city closest to in which you have the trouble. If the settlement has access to navigable water, you should be able to bypass the dealer solution by building only one port.
Empire resources, like any other other, are displayed as resourcing notes on the map, but they apply to all of their civilization and do not require management. You can float over you on the resource screen to see what you do, but you cannot move them. Factory resources only serve for settlements with a factory. However, if you cannot add a factory in a city, check your rail network. There is a good chance that a settlement between the factory city and its capital has no train station or the game has forgotten to build a street between it and its capital.
