In Palworldyou have to farm sulfur to make gunpowder (which you need to make ammunition). The resource is not as abundant as rock or ore, so it can be difficult to find.
Just like Ore, you can drop and farm Sulfur as part of a base, but we don’t recommend opting for a Sulfur farming base. It’s a bit of a waste of one of your base slots, since you don’t need as much sulfur as other materials, such as. B. Coal.

Where to find sulfur in Palworld
There are many sulfur deposits in the desert biome and some in the bamboo grove west of it:

There are other rocks and ores in this area as well, but you should look out for the dirty yellowish rock as shown in the image at the top of this post. Individual deposits can be found at:
- -121, -122
- -153, -58
- -157, -112
- -173, -116
You can mine sulfur with any pickaxe, and friends of any mining level can help you farm it. With at least one Metal pickaxe (15 stone, 20 wood, 5 bars) will make the work easier.
As usual you can use Pals like Bad or Broncherry to increase your carrying capacity so you can take a lot of it with you at once. The desert has no teleport points In the actual desert, which is torture. You should try to bring as much as possible so you don’t have to go back and forth too often.

There are also tons of sulfur deposits in the westernmost part of the map, around the volcano. Mountain obsidianbut since it’s a midgame area with tons of dangerous enemy buddies, we recommend sticking with the desert and the bamboo grove.
When you reach this point, you will find plenty of sulfur. In between there are even seven sulfur deposits Entrance to Eternal Pyre Tower Fast travel point and the Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre tower around -588, -518.
