While we are all familiar with Unreal its use as a gaming engine, and it has commercial uses that are employed by companies such as sports broadcasters. To give you an idea of what that thing might look like, here's a preview from Fox for the World Cup in 2019:
In the Super Bowl specifically, it will be used to mount some of the augmented reality cameras inside the stadium, and some on-campus footage will appear on everything from post-game cameras to that wide-angle camera mounted on ropes above the field of play.
So, yes, if you watch the game next week and see any of these things, remember that even the Super Bowl is running on Unreal Engine.
