What begins as a true crime story about a series of murders in the Osage nation grows into a larger tragedy about the sack of the Osage people after oil is discovered on their land.
He was reportedly running for an absolutely stunning three hours and 26 minutes, Killer of the Flower Moon It looks chock full of things that will make time fly by. Forbidden romance, historical tragedy, true crime, and a thematic echo of Scorsese’s earlier confrontations with America’s lust for power and the chaos it wreaks – few filmmakers have earned the kind of generosity, but Scorsese is one of them.
Killer of the Flower Moon will be released in American cinemas on October 20th.
