It’s any moment, and you all know what it means: it’s time to celebrate everyone’s favorite fluffy little bundles of chaotic indifference, cats. Whether they’re sneaking down the back streets of a cyberpunk dystopia or being loaded into a cannon to be sacrificed for the common good, everyone but one of my two newcomers Split screen Co-host loves cats.
I won’t say which of my new podcasting partners is less enthusiastic about this week’s topic, but one of them is Lisa Marie Segarra, the proud owner of Kotaku
In our first episode after Ash and Nathan’s sudden departure, we talk a little bit over Activision Blizzard and all the terrible things that go on there before we even get into a discussion about our feline friends, real and computer generated. This episode was inspired by the highly anticipated game Stray, CyberConnect2 is adorably depressing Fugue: melodies made of steel, and the mental image of the grown man Ethan Gach crouching in front of a harmless little kitten. Note that this is our first recording with a mostly new crew, so keep our breaks in mind as we get used to talking to each other for much longer than we normally would in any given week.
Listen to the full episode while we feel each other out. And as always, new episodes are released every Friday, so don’t forget to like and subscribe Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or stapler. If you feel like doing so, leave a review too, and you can always email us at [email protected] with any questions or suggestion. If you want to yell at us directly, you can reach us on Twitter: Ethan is @ethangach, Fahey is @unclefahey, and Lisa Marie is @lisamarie_lynn. We meet next week!
