EVE Online is a difficult game to learn without much effort and support. The good news is that there is now an easier way to get started: the EVE academy, a new companion website for the 18 year old MMO, was created specifically to show new players the ropes and possibly also to teach some old dogs new tricks.
The EVE AcademyThe main goal is to introduce the players EVE and try to divide the game into four different “classes” to create a more manageable scope for their early days EVE Experience. Those classes – Explorer, Industrialist, Enforcer, and Soldier of Fortune – have no real meaning in the game. Instead, they’re a way to help new players set goals EVE
Each of these classes has its own page that explains the basics of fulfillment by a player Goals that are consistent with this class. For example, the Academy calls the Enforcer class a player who wants to focus on PvE activities, and guides players through destroying NPC spaceships, completing missions, and earning money and standing with the factions of the Game. These feature players and content creators are known in the community for helping newbies and they go deeper into specific areas of gameplay. One of the most important elements of the academy are suggestions on what skills to train for your new character and how to set up your first spaceships. EVE has thousands of different skills, all of which affect a character and the ships they fly. There are also hundreds of different types of ships with numerous weapons, engines and defense modules. These are decisions that often make new players wrong EVEThe enormous complexity and wrong decisions can lead to great frustration in a game where your ship can be permanently destroyed if you make the wrong decisions. By providing community-approved guidance on what players should do early in their careers EVE Careers that EVE The academy prepares new players for success, not heartbreak.
With a game as hard to achieve as EVE Online, a website like that EVE The academy is a great addition. Almost all EVE Veteran will agree that new players are one of the EVE’s most valuable resources, and nobody likes a player leaving the game.
