The Half a life Franchise contains some of the best and most popular video games ever made. While the vast majority of the series are very good, they cannot all be equally great. Let’s classify them!
Before this list starts, a little housekeeping. First, this list is omitted Deathmatch Classicbecause that’s more of a Half a life Multiplayer mod developed by Valve that happens to contain some Half a life Financial assets. Half-Life Deathmatch Source isn’t here either because it’s just a re-release of Half-life original online mode that wasn’t originally a separate game. This list is only Half a life Games. No games that are in the Half a life Universe, but not really Half a life Games. In order to Portal 1 and 2 are not here. Last, Black mesa is not here. We discussed it but decided to remove it from the list. It’s a wonderful remake and if you want to play Half-life 1, but put off by the old visual and design choices, I would recommend giving Black mesa a go. But given its fan-made roots and the fact that it’s largely a remake Half-life 1We decided it was worth mentioning but didn’t need to be classified.
