Location and Walkthrough of Kadaunar Shrine in Zelda: TOTK

Kadaunar Shrine is an inner shrine The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘S Eldin Canyon Sky Region.

The Kadaunar Shrine is found within the EIdin Canyon Sky Region. The exact coordinates are (1883, 1202, 1251).

We reached this chain of islands by first going to the Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower. If you haven’t unlocked the tower yet, check out our Eldin Canyon Skyview Tower guide. Once you’ve unlocked the tower, you’ll be able to fly into the air over the Sky Island Archipelago and gain access to the Kadaunar Shrine.

Water Makes the Way Walkthrough to Kadaunar Shrine

fans of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker You may remember him dumping pots of water onto lava in the Dragon Roost Cavern. In Kadaunar ShrineRelive the good old days and solve a puzzle by squirting lava with water to create walkways.

1. Go down to the huge lava pool. Hit the hydrant to turn it on.

2. Use Ultrahand to pick up the hydrant and gradually move it over the lava while spitting water. This turns parts of the lava into solidified rock. Link can jump onto so-called lava plates.

3. Create a pile of lava slabs by moving the hydrant over the water with Ultrahand. At this point, you can either jump from platform to platform to cross the lava like we did, or you can use Ultrahand to glue solidified pieces of rock together to build a bridge.

4. After crossing the lava pool, look left. You will see one Breast on a raised ledge with lava in front. Either move the bridge you created or build a new one by gluing pieces of rock together with Ultrahand.

5. Use the bridge as a walkway to get to the chest. The chest contains a Strong construction bow. Then go by going back over the bridge you built or jump and slide over the small lava pool in front of the chest.

6. Directly across from where you got the chest, there is an area blocked by a large rock. Use the Fusion ability to combine a lava slab with a weapon and swing it at the rock to break it. (We don’t know if this works with every weapon. We combined a lava plate with one cobblestone breakerand that did the trick.)

7. Enter the next room. You will see two fire hydrants. Activate one and start crafting Lava Plates with Ultrahand.

8. You may notice that this is actually a lava flow. If you craft a slab, it will flow in the opposite direction towards the end of the shrine. Make a lot of plates and wait until one levitates near the platform you’re standing on.

9. Wait for a slab to float by close enough to jump on. Use the recall ability, then jump onto the slab. The lava slab moves in the opposite direction, taking you to the other end of the room. (You can probably also jump onto the plate first and Then Use recall, but that’s how we finished the shrine.)

10. Jump off the lava slab and get yours light of blessing.
