More than a month has passed since then Madden NFL 23 started and was promptly towed past Fans and some NFL pros alike. Unfortunately, despite some updates, it doesn’t sound like the “most polished version” of Driving me crazy A ton has improved over the years and some players are starting to give up hope.
“It’s embarrassing and makes me really angry that I decided to get one Driving me crazy Title for the first time in 6 years,” wrote one player in an email my box. “It spits on the grave of the man gracing the cover.” That assessment is on the harsher end of the spectrum, but social media and EA’s own forums are awash with players voicing similar complaints well into the game’s live life. While the eternal complaints about buggy games and outdated in-game references ongoing, more serious problems with broken modes, lost progress and balls repeatedly slipping through receivers’ hands to cause incredibly unlikely interceptions have fans stewing.
“There are too many interceptions!” Posted a player on the EA Answers website in August. “Almost all slightly covered routes are caught by the CB’s.” Today there are over 100 answers. “I’ve had so many passes where the corner seemed to be man-marked, then I toss the ball into the receiver’s break and the cornerback immediately turns and takes the ball,” reads one. “What skill can I acquire to prevent defenders from doubling the speed of all my receivers to catch up with them in a split second?” reads another.
others have common visual evidence of the issue on the Madden subreddit. “How does the ball go through my receiver’s hands on interception?” wrote one player in one of the most upvoted posts yesterday. “I’m so sick of this happening all the time.” The rest of the comments were filled with pitying players. One-on-one battles, daily challenges that players complete for rewards, were another sore point for players report about it They don’t reset properly after they are done.

Horror video games to play before Halloween
Creepy and scary
Something that video games prefer to their cinematic counterparts in terms of horror is the player’s agency. Sure, watching the slasher claim his next victim can scare you, but you know what’s even scarier? Knowing you had the power to stop it. Watching someone slowly open a door and enter a dark room is unnerving, but having to do it yourself will send shivers down your spine and paralyze you with fear.
It’s even more frustrating for some madden 23‘s franchise mode where players build a team over multiple seasons. Players have signed up progress lost for weeks if the game freezes, crashes or disconnects from a game. Other can’t make the mode progress beyond a certain point, essentially soft-locking their simulated journey. “So @EA are you guys ever going to fix the Madden 23 franchise mode?” one gamer recently tweeted. “Our league keeps getting thrown into the 2nd round of the draft.”
Complaints about defects in Driving me crazy‘s annual update are nothing new, and some veterans have gotten used to braving the rough start-up phase until things settle down, but the Ambient Fury seems to have reached a new level this year. A few weeks ago, Madden streamers started spreading the “Packstrike” hashtag on social media to boycott the Ultimate Team mode’s slot-based microtransaction economy. Top players spend anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars on card packs to unlock the top ranked players for their competitive online teams while EA rakes in billions
“I asked this when it started, but at what point #packstrike turn into #maddenstrike?” Driving me crazy YouTuber WheelzFL tweeted yesterday. YouTuber EricRayweather was equally somber, arguing in a new video that it’s because of EA’s next title update to save the game. The October patch doesn’t have an official release date yet, but it’s expected to be a big one. “We are aware of several issues that players have reported in Franchise Mode, and our team is working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible,” said an EA Community Manager Posted last week. “Continuing our commitment to the live service, our next title update will focus on player feedback from the launch window of Madden NFL 23.”
But it is clear that there is a large contingent of Driving me crazy Players who simply want more transparency and openness about the current state of the game. Few seem to dispute that madden 23 makes a number of improvements to the series’ overall gameplay, but the ongoing glitches threaten to overshadow any bright spots. “Both are true” tweeted Driving me crazy Streamer Fendler. “madden 23 The gameplay is the best it has been in at least 19. We should seriously consider boycotting the game entirely from today’s perspective.”
EA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
