Marvel Rivals' damage heroes, ranked from worst to best
Namor holds his trident in his hand and looks at the camera with a disdain usually reserved for scornful teenagers.

The Towers of Namor are one of my favorite tools Marvel Rivalsbut they can also frustrate me as a user, just as they're likely to annoy my enemies when they're pelted by the kraken-like monster spawn that fires at them from every angle I can place them. The King of the Sea is a defense-driven system builder character who is good at building a fortified space on top of a target. You can throw his turrets into any nook and cranny you can reach, and they'll automatically pepper the enemy with decent damage, pushing them back if they try to get to the top. His trident throws are slow but powerful, and while his Whale Summoning ultimate only does decent damage, it's quick to use and has good crowd control. That being said, if someone pounces on you, you're probably screwed, and their towers aren't static contraptions you can set up and forget about. They disappear after just a few seconds and it becomes harder to create good setups and get value from them. If you set up too early, you'll waste time with them on the field, and if you set up too late, you'll probably end up just throwing them somewhere to do even a little bit of damage while they're swarming. Playing Namor well requires feel and timing, and I wouldn't be mad if NetEase made his towers last until they were destroyed, but for now he's good at what he does .
