surveillance 2 loses another hero, this time for about two weeks. Blizzard Entertainment tweeted Monday that it’s taking time over watch 2 Hero Mei is offline due to a bug with her Ice Wall ability. If all goes well, Mei will return to the game in a patch on November 15th. As a Mei-Main, I’m devastated. An out of order sign? Not the kind of weapon charm I was hoping for.
“We’re temporarily disabling Mei to fix a bug with her Ice Wall ability that allows heroes to reach unintended locations.” Blizzard tweeted
The bug caused Mei to move outside the map boundaries. You can see the error in action surveillance 2‘s Busan card, about a clip posted on Reddit. In it, a Kiriko player uses the Swift Step ability to teleport to Mei. Later, players use the exploit to transport Symmetra out of the map as well – effectively granting them invincibility and
While this is Mei’s first time out, suspensions like this are not uncommon surveillance 2 during its rocky start last month. HThe Eroes Bastion and Torbjörn were removed from the game after inadvertently banning players from nearly a third of the game’s roster, as well as other bugs. These two were removed from the game on October 10th and were fully reinstated just last week.

On launch day, the game faced massive queues due to an influx of players, followed by what Blizzard called a “mass DDoS” attack that rendered the game largely unplayable for a significant number of players. Shortly thereafter, another controversial error is said to have led to this surveillance 2 Players accidentally purchasing character skins using in-game currency. This was apparently caused by the game logging keystrokes while players were focused on chatting in the hero gallery. That’s all on top of the controversies surrounding the Battle Pass and monetization.
