Metroid horror looks familiar to me when you’ve played Metroid merger recently: eerie soundtrack and level design, a powerful stalker, a computer companion who doesn’t stay on his trail. The biggest difference is in the tone – merger is clearly very horror-focused while fear

But then I read an excellent one GameSpot interview with Yoshio Sakamotowho directed merger and fear and a ton of other Metroid games. He talks about the reasons for the title and why Samus hardly has any lines in the game. By giving Samus very few lines, Sakamoto hoped to emphasize the horror – which should be the main focus of the game.
This came as a real surprise to me, so I sat down and made a large pot of soup and considered where the game went wrong in his quest for horror. The reason runs up fear
Check out the video above to learn more about it fear the recipe changed from merger and made a completely different dish that was tasty but wasn’t soup.
