On February 21stNetmarble – the studio behind it Overpime– announced that the revived MOBA will be closing on April 22, 2024. (Coincidentally the original Paragon (Servers shut down on April 26, 2018.) Starting today, players will no longer be able to purchase in-game content with real money.
In the message confirming the shutdown, the team is behind it Paragon: The Overprime thanked players for all the “love and support” they had shown the game since 2022.
“After careful consideration, we have come to the conclusion that we cannot provide a stable and satisfactory service in the future,” Netmarble said. “For this reason, we have decided to close the service on Monday, April 22, 2024.”
“We deeply regret the unexpected and unfortunate termination of service.

Will someone else try to revive? Paragon again? Perhaps. But at this point, I’m not sure fans will be too excited, as they’re simply worried that death is just around the corner again.
