The Witcher: Monster Slayera mobile augmented reality adaptation of The Witcher role-playing game franchise Pokemon Gowill be closed in about six months, CD project announced on Tuesday. The game ends on June 30, 2023.

The developers at Spokko, CD Projekt’s studio developing the game, thanked players for their time playing the free-to-play game, adding that the global community has “over 100 million monsters defeated”.

“We’re proud that we were able to create a location-based AR experience that captures what it’s like to be a witcher in real life,” the studio added.

The Witcher: Monster Slayer will be available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store until January 31st. “Starting February 1st, the game will go through some major changes leading up to the end of the game,” Spokko’s team said.
