Author 3 it was a popular game back when it came out in 2015. But the recent release of the Netflix show has led to a massive struggle for the popularity of the Polish RPG. And it recently set a new track record for active players on Steam today, with over 93k players.

Finding 90k or more players on Steam so they can all play your game at the same time is amazing. But what makes it even more impressive is that it happened more than four years after the release of the game. But this is not an automatic accident. The Netflix show has gained a large audience and many love Henry Cavill as Geralt. And to help increase player count the fact that Author 3 currently on sale to Steam. So a bunch of people might have just finished the show and decided to buy the show and continue to see Geralt's arrival.
When you look at Steamcharts, it seems like a lot of people have signed in and started playing Author 3 after this screenshot is taken. The high value now at the time of writing shows over 94k players.
It's just not there Author 3 that increases the popularity. Witcher Adult Games sees many other players.
The original game set a new record for Steam, meanwhile over 12k players who works for Steam. Witch 2 and it is healthy 6k players to Steam is currently playing it.
Looks like the world is holding back Witch fever and good luck to Geralt fans, more Witch you are coming. Netflix has already confirmed its second season the show is coming. And who knows, maybe one day we'll find a 4th Witch a game. It is possible.
