NetherRealm Studios, the company behind the Mortal Kombat series, is moving on to a new game – and will no longer be producing Mortal Kombat 11 Contents, announced the company on Friday.
After the support, the studio is now concentrating on its next project Mortal Kombat 11
NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of support for Mortal Kombat 11, the DLC for the game including the characters has come to an end.

Mortal Kombat 11 debuted on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One in April 2019. Over time, NetherRealm has expanded the game with several DLC packs that have added content such as stages and characters. The November 2020 release of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
The end of DLC means there won’t be any major changes to the game. Fighting games like Mortal Kombat 11 Often rely on consistent updates to improve the experience by balancing characters and adding new ones. Getting fans interested and investing in the game is a big part.
NetherRealm gave no indication of what the company’s next project will be.
