We are about a month from the second season of The last of us The premiere on Max and Neil Druckmann, the director of the series of games on which the show is based, conducts interviews to promote their return. Of course, these conversations drift into the future of the video game series that started. This is to be expected, but what was surprising is that Druckmann claims that The last of us Games could be over. I don't think that's true, but it's a nice thought.
In an interview with diversityDruckmann was asked about the possibility The last of us part III. Before that, he was open about the possibility of a third game, more or less found that at least there was Another game in the chamberprobably Then come Intergalactic. Now, however, he seems to change his melody.
“I waited for this question” diversity. “I think the only thing I would say is not that there is more Last of us. It could be. “
While it contradicts what he originally said, I hope that it is true. The last of us Is one of my favorite series in games, but I don't need or do not want third parties. Yes, I've said that before The last of us part IIWhat became too far and far, my favorite of the two, but the sequel left the story of Ellie and Abby on a moving note. Theoretically, if a third party Last of us The game came out that some of these characters would have to bring through the wringer again by joining them into a violent story in which they have to suffer again. Sure, a post -apocalyptic world could easily shift the perspectives to new characters, but I also deny the claim that The last of us'Welt is interesting enough to maintain a long -term franchise. The things that made it convincing were Joel, Ellie, Lev and Abby, and their history feels completely. So if Druckmann says the truth here, it would actually be dope.
But The last of us Was so lucrative for Sony that I don't think we're done. However, I would like to be, so I will first live in a fantasy country where Druckmann's claims are true. The last of us'Live action adaptation begins her second season on April 13th.
