Netflix is stepping up its anime game in 2021. During the AnimeJapan 2021 showcase on Friday, the streaming service announced that “around 40” anime titles, films and series will be released in 2021 – almost twice as many last year.
Netflix’s upcoming shows include some anime series that are slated to be released in the next few months. On April 8th, Netflix will release the first season of Way of the househusband
Netflix will be released on May 27th Eden, a distant future show in which a human baby is born into a world of artificially intelligent robots. Eden Directed by Yasuhiro Irie, the director of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood
These are just a few of the dozen of series Netflix plans to release in 2021. Netflix has a long list of anime projects in development that have no release dates, including series based on The Witcher, Lara Croft, Godzilla, and The Terminator.
