The new Netflix horror film is all about a demonic retro game that unleashes a horrifying curse. It’s a part jumanjipart Hunter X Hunter‘s Greed Island arc, part of Netflix’s very own Black mirror: Bandersnatchand a whole lot of screeching and glowing green screens.
in the Choose or die, a young programmer stumbles across a retro text-based game and tries to beat it to win the grand prize. But she soon discovers that it’s no ordinary game — it’s a cursed game (and aptly it’s called CURS>R) The game mirrors real life in an eerie way and soon the choices she has to make become deadly. And as the old saying goes, if you die in the game, you definitely die in real life.
