We had individual 5we had Persona 5 Royalewe had Persona 5: Dancing in the Starlight and also Persona 5 Striker. That is a much from individual 5but Sega and Atlus reckon we can handle even more since another spin-off has just been announced, this one called Persona: Phantom of the Night.
As central person have translatedthis – with an abbreviated name of P5X– is a mobile game published by Chinese company Perfect World Games. But before you switch off like I almost did, just watch this trailer:
And this one that offers some gameplay:
I think these clips look cool as hell. And the little owl! And everyone’s character designs! They are perfect (Longtime series designer Shigenori Soejima worked on the main character and the owl sidekick, which would explain that). This footage obviously looks cool as hell because it looks just like that individual 5 We’ve been playing on consoles/PC, down to the mixture of exploration/classwork and turn-based combat, but it doesn’t really seem to show what kind of gacha, microtransaction or payment systems will be in place, which of course could be an absolute deal breaker. I guess we’ll have to see how this all works when the game’s first public test takes place on March 29th.
You play as a high school student whose parents “travel abroad” and leave you home alone to go to school by day and fight demons by night. The trailer hints that the story will follow a very similar path to the main game. only with a fresh group of kids, teammates, and possible social connections (although Joker and crew pull it off an appearance based on a screenshot from the official site).
If you want to see even more of the excellent work done on the character design, you can check it out the official site of the game (although you’ll need to translate it since it’s all in Chinese).
